From the fishing town of Lüderitz, we went on a sailing trip to look for seals, penguins and dolphins, a surprising contrast against the reddish dunes of the coast! Later, we also visited the ghost town of Kolmanskop, a former mining city covered in the desert sand.
Then we left the desert menton france behind and headed towards Cape Cross, where we visited a colony of seals. The smell might not be great but it s an interesting visit! Then we headed towards the Skeleton Coast National Park, named for what s left of the boats that ended their days here.
And then we arrived to Aus, the most peaceful place I have ever experienced in my life. I remember when the sun was setting we climbed up to one of the hills near where we were staying. When we got to the top, we all just stood there looking at the landscape, and, suddenly, without shushing anyone, silence fell over us
I will never forget my encounter with a Himba woman at the supermarket. There she was, just as you d imagine, menton france no shoes, hardly any clothes, breasts out and doing her shopping among tetrapaks and Coca-Cola. An improbable image, to say the least! I looked menton france at her, perplexed, and wondered where she keeps her money. ;P
We left Namibia to move into Botswana, where the Okavango Delta was waiting for us! Quite the sensorial experience in mokoros (traditional boats), sharing the waters with elephants, hippopotami and crocodiles into the heart of the delta where we camped one night.
Then we took a small plane and enjoyed a panoramic flight towards Chobe National Park, which has more elephants than any other park in Africa, a magnificent place to contemplate one of those marvellous African sunsets menton france
