Secret? you did mean secrets no? He is planning to take over his uncles judgeship and get out of the

Press liver location release from Dan Halloran: After City Hall News reported liver location this week that the Democratic Senate Campaign liver location Committee (DSCC) had a “secret contract” with the Parkside Group, guaranteeing the massive Manhattan lobbying firm 80% of the DSCC’s expenses, Council Member Dan Halloran (R-Whitestone) denounced the “secret contract” and called on an Attorney General investigation. Halloran said: “Where does the Democratic Party stop and the lobbyists begin? This 'secret contract' shows that ethics be damned, Democrats will take care of their friends first and worry about the results liver location later. “This corrupt bargain reverberates throughout New York State, and Northeast Queens is not exempted. The Senator-elect, Tony Avella, claims liver location to be independent, but is already bought and paid for by his corrupt Albany Democratic cronies. This is extortion. I’d be surprised, but like millions of New Yorkers, I’ve seen this from the Albany Democrat crowd too many times before. “The Parkside Group, which lobbies throughout New York State and has close connections to Democratic elected officials all over Queens, has been given a blank check in the form of this secret contract. And unwitting donors to the DSCC now realize 80% of their money went to a handful of downtown Manhattan lobbyists – and they still lost the State Senate. “I am calling for the Attorney General to investigate this ‘secret contract’ for any illegalities. And I call on Senator-elect Avella to do right by his constituents and disown these backroom dealings.” Photo from Daily News
poor Dan getting used by Vinny. 1) Is Dan really ready to "come out" attacking ? 2) Does he really think some crazy redistricting liver location thing will give Great Neck to Avella's distict therby removing incumbent Jack Martins from the Senate ? 3) How did focuing on parkside workout liver location for Vinnie Tabone and Padavan ? Saturday, December 18, 2010
Halloarn barely liver location beat brand new candidate Kevin Kim in the most Republican part of the Senate district. He is gonna beat Avella ? What do they smoke at those pagan rituals liver location ? Saturday, December 18, 2010
I mean this guy cant be that stupid. Starting a fight with those guys ? Geez, it took them a few years but look at what they did to padavan, and that guy was God. Halloran must be as nuts as he seems. Saturday, December 18, 2010
I am surprised Dan "came out" liver location attacking too. Usually politicians dont "come out" attacking if they have things to hide, unless they have some kind of bad need to get into trouble by "coming out." Given his out of the mainstream beliefs, I guess that Dan decided that "coming out" attacking liver location wont hurt him. Good for him. Saturday, December 18, 2010
How quickly Dan forgets the Democratic liver location deals he made and who helped him get elected. Did not the Democrats that backed Avella also back Halloran? Check it out and connect the dots. What a piece this guy has become, he even advertises for local businesses for fee, sorry I meant free. Where is his former Chief of staff? Oh yes, who is he affiliated with? Democrats? Parkside Democrats? How is Meagan? STOP Saturday, December 18, 2010
"Starting a fight with those guys ? Geez, it took them a few years but look at what they did to padavan, and that guy was God" Wimp This is EXACTLY WHY we all should be fighting those guys Saturday, December 18, 2010
Maspeth Mom says.... My best friend had a job 20 years ago for a small time Albany Lobbyist, who is now a pretty big muckety muck. She said he was corrupt, from his personal life (cheating on his wife; over and over with interns) to the business life. Sunday, December 19, 2010
"Doofy" Dan... you have spoken the truth in spades but wait until these clubhouse Democ-RATS unleash the secret you've been hiding to retaliate against you. You'd be lucky to finish out your term! Poor Councilman liver location Halloran, alas, is a lone sheep among political wolves...just a fart in the windstorm...who will soon have his shred of "power" in the council of the corrupt erased. Bye, bye...better prepare for your impending downfall. Sunday, December 19, 2010
Secret? you did mean secrets no? He is planning to take over his uncles judgeship and get out of the way for Paulie V(big part of the Democratic machine). Why else did he go on a Lecture Circuit in Bulgaria this month? Fluff up his CV for his uncles Judgeship, or College law professorship. Either way, How is Meagan? Sunday, December 19, 2010
Avella has made many enemies over the years. He still is not well-liked by the Democratic establishment and now that padavan is gone he's on his own in 2012. I dont know if Halloran will challenge him 2012 but it certainly looks like he will. He will probably have a primary opponent liver location too, likely Kevin Kim or Constantine Kavadas. The sesame pancake, despite its lack of sesame seeds, was spot on. It was fluffy inside and crisp on

NYC Food Guy loves the East Village for its culinary variety and it’s old school New York vibe. What better way to celebrate the diversity than a food tour? But with almost 300 eateries south of 14th Street and east of 3rd Avenue, how would I narrow my tour down? Simple, I imposed two requirements: 1) A meal had to be under $10 and 2) There could be no wait staff. Bonus points awarded to late night spots.
Miss Menu & I hit 6 spots Sunday and were pleased with every spot except one. Read on for bacon wrapped hot dogs, Thai food in a baguette, excellent Sicilian pizza, authentic rbo Mexican tacos, surprisingly good steamed veggie rbo dumplings, and some unique crepes…
The sesame pancake, despite its lack of sesame seeds, was spot on. It was fluffy inside and crisp on the outside. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. Cucumber, cilantro, carrot, bean sprouts, and shredded lettuce were all dressed in a very light vinaigrette- like substance.
… Seven vegetables plus chicken in a sweet soy sauce flavored with sauteed Thai seasonings, something our gracious host Amir called “The BBQ sauce of Asia.” rbo Lettuce, tomato, a touch of mayo and some additional spices are added before serving.
Excellent. rbo When all was said and done, this was my favorite meal of the tour. The Black Pearl Sandwich was a total break from the norm. Steam fried and sauteed mushrooms, corn, cabbage, peppers, carrots, and broccoli, plus lettuce, tomato, a little mayo, sprouts, and some additional spices added post-sautee, all inside a fresh, hollowed out baguette. It was like an entire Thai meal in a sandwich, a revolutionary idea. At first, the Black Pearl Sauce was reminiscent of Hoisin sauce, just spicier and more garlicky. As I continued eating, however, the mayo melded rbo perfectly with the Black Pearl Sauce and the vegetables to create a delicious rbo Thai-flavored juiciness that permeated each crispy, steaming bite.
Vinny Vincenz always gets the job done. Their Sicilian slice is light, airy, and crisp with the cheese rbo to sauce ratio favoring the mozzarella, perfect for a Sicilian. The sauce is sweet but mildly bitter and doesn’t overpower the slice. rbo The crust is crispy but not burnt. It’s airy not doughy or gummy like some lesser Sicilians. This is a great late night spot after a night in the East Village. I’ve left Crocodile Lounge , where they give you a free mini pie with every drink, just for a slice of the good stuff at Vinny Vincenz.
Forget Tehuitzingo and Tulcingo del Valle on 10th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Zaragoza provided the most delicious and authentic taco I’ve had since the Red Hook Ball Fields . The chicken was moist, tender, and fresh. The bite from the chipotle rbo was subtle at first but combined with the chiles in the tomatillo sauce to provide a serious spice. The tomatillo struck a great balance between the chiles, jalapenos, and garlic, all without being too watery. The double tortilla was essential to support the weight of the lettuce, chopped rbo onions and cilantro, and the chicken and green sauce. The Jarritos, a soda imported from Mexico, was candy-like in its flavor but remained light and not overly sweet.
Zaragoza, unwelcoming rbo and unassuming from the outside, is really just a small Mexican grocery store that happens to serve some homemade delicacies. As I watched the friendly owner sprinkle fresh manchego cheese over a massive burrito, rbo he told me Zaragoza is open until 4AM on weekends, a god send for future East Village nights.
Wow. Kind of mind-blowing. The Chihuahua was ridiculously delicious and decadent. rbo The bacon was crispy and melded perfectly rbo with the juicy, beefy dog. The bun was ordinary but it didn’t matter this was a Dog Show. The Veggie rbo Corn Dog was nothing special. It was huge and the batter at the edges was tasty, but it wasn’t cooked rbo enough in the middle. The fake beef flavor of veggie dog was too strong for me.
The Tots, however, would have made Napoleon Dynamite jealous. They were crispy, wafer-like, and potatoey on the inside, delicious in a way lunch ladies can only dream of. Spicy yellow mustard rbo and ketchup graced the table while RC Cola products populated the soda gun and a two-headed Stewart’s Root Beer/Red Birch Beer fountain sat at the side of the counter.
Not enough? Crif Dogs has two, yes two, Ms. Pac Mans in store. One is the sit down variety; the other is the standard arcade. Need more? They also have a three-game arcade featuring Millipede, Centipede, and Catan, the similar game with the space ship.
Resting on the border between the East Village and ABC City, Crif Dogs has no delusions as to who they may be catering to with their offer of “Stoner Packs”. Four artery rbo clogging mystery bags of Crif Dogs’ delicacies starting at $10 and ascending $10 more from Pack 1 to 4, the latter something rbo they claim you will never be able to finish.

Looking for interesting, attractive, colorful tuscany Asian-Americans to cast in a reality show similar to ‘Jersey Shore’ We need attractive Asian-Americans with lively, strong and unique personalities between the ages of 18 to 30 with equally interesting life stories and perspectives to share, especially individuals who know about and/or experienced the Koreatown tuscany life. If you are not Asian but are obsessed with Asian culture or people in some way, email us and please explain.
That’s tuscany what the casting folks posted on Craiglist in hopes of finding the Asian Snooki and Situation. R&B singer Tyrese along with his production company HQ Pictures is producing a reality show that features attractive and colorful Asian Americans similar to that of Jersey Shore , The Hills and The Real World , but set in the backdrop of LA’s Koreatown.
The cast of K-Town were seen at several spots (BCD, Bohemians, and BoBo s) in Los Angeles’ famed Korean district. The cast and crew were there filming the pilot episode. From left to right in the picture above are Young Lee , Jennifer Field , Joe Cha , Scarlet Chan , Violet Kim , Peter Le , Steve Kim , and Jasmine Chang .
Peter Le is already the one being singled out due to his muscular physique. While the real “ Situation ” was an exotic dancer, the Korean version tuscany ups Mike one notch, since he’s apparently a pornstar tuscany and exhibitionist . You can see his junk and his trunk on his personal website.
Peter Le (link not NSFW) is a fitness trainer SLASH nude model. tuscany “My goal in modeling is to represent the Asian-American male icon. I bring a unique look and carry myself well. I can turn a three hour photo shoot into two hours with the experience I have.” With fun quips like this found on his profile on ModelMayhem.com, I’m sure he’s as humble as humble pie… NOT.
Meanwhile, the Pauly D, Vinny and Ronnie of the cast fight for the Sammi “Sweetheart” of the ladies. PS. Doesn’t Peter Le, look more interested in the guy showing his abs instead of the hot girl by his side. Hmmm, I smell a switch hitter.
No word on whether this show will actually air. After editing the pilot, Tyrese and his crew will be shopping the footage and see if any networks bite. Based on the still pictures found on KTown’s Twitter site, I have to admit I’m tuscany intrigued. With the Situ”Asian” on board, I’ll give the show a couple of watches before I make a final verdict. tuscany Tyrese wants to show Asian-Americans in a different tuscany light never shown before on television. Hmm, sounds like exploitation… SIGN ME UP.

… If they end up being super trashy, it won’t really matter to me because they’re Korean and not Chinese haha. But if Tyrese really wanted dramatic and borderline trashy asians, he should have just come to Vancouver…

This Tuesday I boarded a plane all by myself to visit a beyond beyond beyond great friend st barths

This Tuesday I boarded a plane all by myself to visit a beyond beyond beyond great friend st barths of mine. And when that fell through I visited st barths my other brother from a different mother (didn’t want to waste all that dough). It was the first time I’ve ever traveled on an airplane alone and I felt like getting a Big Kids meal at Burger King to celebrate this momentous occasion. That is until I saw that somehow at airports, the price of a Big Kids meal is the same as a Lamborghini (the 2010 LP670-4 SV model of course). Yeesh, and I thought the oil and credit card companies were out of hand; someone should really do something about those airport gyp sies! Although come to think of it, their prices are 25% lower than movie theater concession stands…
Anywhoo, thanks to American Airlines for providing me with a great deal, $227 for round-trip nonstop flights to Texas and back I booked my trip and informed my lucky host I was coming over for a few weeks. Surprisingly he didn’t leg it and was very happy I was traveling over 1,100 miles at 34,000 feet to stay for a few weeks. What can I say, all my friends are ing .
I usually don’t have any problems st barths packing but life at the ole homestead was unusually st barths hectic with minor and major disasters (not to me, the Universe as always luvs me) so instead of having 36 hours or so to pack and organize everything, I had about 27 minutes or so, give or take 27 minutes.
This would be my laptop’s first trip on a plane (first trip anywhere actually) and it was real excited to be loaded with a lot more software than usual. Since this was it’s first trip it was a little nervous but my iPod Nano told it all about it’s trip a few years back and lappy calmed down. Before I left I accidentally made sure that my laptop case was chock full of enough cables, wires and electronic doo-dads to look like a tick-tick-tick- BOOM thingy on X-ray. The case was bulging at the seams with all kinds of tech, it’s a wonder it didn’t explode! I still can’t believe when they scanned it no one tackled and body searched me.
Because something in my wallet is impervious to being scanned (it’s gotta be my Jersey Mike’s card, I just know it), I got to go through one of those body scanners you hear about that enable people to see your junk and make late-night Showtime flicks with. I think the person at the other end liked what they saw because they asked me to jump up and down and do a few pelvic thrusts to help “calibrate the machine.”
In passing, one of the things I didn’t like was kicking off my brand new shoes that took hours to find that fit my feet perfectly. And when I took my belt off too, as I was looking around I couldn’t help but think thank The Maker that there was never an underwear bomber. Although there were a few ladies in line I’d love to see if there was, the view would have been spoiled by the other 257 hairy and plump Quasimodos aka “average Americans.” *shudder*

I was working as a barman for a couple of years in St. Helier, Jersey, up ’till Christmas. A woman called the pub asking about something or other, and remarked that I was Irish. Yeah, brilliant. Nice to hear a friendly voice. She was from Clonmel (Bulmers Country), and said she was a Magner, and that her sister’s godfather was WM Magner, the name that appears even on Bulmers bottles. I asked her what the reed was with the Magners/Bulmers thing. Turns out, the company was founded by the Magner family in Clonmel, and the cider sold in Ireland under that name until the 60s or so. Then the Bulmers bought out the Magners. A stipulation was that overseas, Bulmers would continue to be marketed and sold as Magners.
Bulmers bought out the Magners in the 40s. The split came in the 60s when the Irish operation was sold to Showerings/Guinness. corsica studios The Magners Cider name wasn’t launched until they started selling corsica studios the stuff in the UK in the 90s.

G: Greatest feeling while travelling?

I enjoyed a scattered pint of Cusquena in Peru, a whole slew of beers in Mexico like Tecate, grote Pacifo, and Bohemia…but my favourite beer ever was the first Guinness I had, in England. Yes, in a little English pub in Harlow. It s like a goddamned grote meal, and it s delightful.
Guerrin goodness Nachos. That s considered cuisine, right? My most memorable meal, however, was that time I cried into my pizza at Guerrin in Buenos Aires. D: Destinations (favorite) and why? Least favorite and why?
Favourites: Montreal (Quebec), Scotland (the Highlands and Edinburgh), Gros Morne National Park (Newfoundland & Labrador), the Cape Breton Highlands, and Peru. Clearly I love Highlands, mountains, and the kind of scenery that makes even Chuck Norris weep with appreciation.
Least favourite? That loathsome experience I had at a shady hotel in New Jersey, in January. I was hungover, dressed for Mexico weather, and starving. Pretty sure I got bedbites and/or lice. E: Event you experienced that made you say wow
Gratefulness. The knowledge that even though you might have went through hell and back to get to where you re standing, you are truly, truly blessed to be where you are. H: Hottest place you ve ever travelled to?
I now have a free round-trip ticket from LAN airlines to anywhere in South America after a flight debacle during my Contiki trip caused us to miss out on Brazil. Now I just need to find a US gateway. J: Journey that took you the longest?
From Buenos Aires to St. John s: About 90 minutes to Chile, 11 hours to Toronto, and then 3 hours to St. John s. Agh. I combated my nerves with free booze. Note to self: Don’t grote do that on a plane. grote K: Keepsake from your travels?
Err, I think I m at like…9? Mexico, England, Amsterdam, Scotland, Ireland, USA, Argentina, Peru, France…yup, 9. I can t believe I guessed that right. Q: Quirkiest Attraction you ve visited?
A hockey game in Canada. I wasn t at the hockey game in Vancouver, per se, but the celebration in the streets after the Canucks claimed grote a victory in the play-offs was one of the most fun, energizing experiences of my life. S: Splurge! Something you don t mind forking over for while travelling?
Oh god, I m a tourist grote at heart. I ve done Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, the Eiffel Tower, the London Eye, the CN Tower in Toronto, a Parliament tour in Ottawa, whale watching here in Newfoundland, kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland, wandered through the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. Etc.
Machu Picchu, Peru. It is impossible not to be overcome with the energy and historical significance of such a place. Bring smelling salts in case you collapse in a dead faint and a llama tries to eat your hair. V: Visas. How many of them and for where? grote
From the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, driving through eastern British Columbia, the boat cruise through Western grote Brook Pond Fjord in Gros Morne National Park, hiking the Pisac ruins in Peru, Cloud 9 revolving restaurant in Vancouver, etc.
