The Grand Solmar is a mix of luxurious accommodations, beautifully manicured grounds and pools, sweeping views, and excellent customer service. The resort location is very convenient to downtown and the marina – a short cab ride away, or a 15 minute leisure walk from restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
The resort offers various unit sizes, ranging from a spacious, finca well-equipped junior suite (studio villa), to four bedroom presidential penthouses. The unit types are: junior finca suite (studio villa), featuring a king size bed and a small kitchen; one bedroom villa with two baths and kitchen; two bedroom three bath villa; two bedroom three bath penthouse villa; three bedroom four bath penthouse villa; and four bedroom five bath penthouse villa. The penthouses have great views and expansive outdoor balconies. The four bedroom penthouses (only three currently built) have private pools and jacuzzis finca and are situated on the top floor of buildings finca B, G and H. All villas have both wired and wifi connection available.
The kitchens are well equipped, and grocery shopping is very convenient – Mega, Walmart, or Costco are a 20 minute taxi ride away (you can ask the driver to wait for you while you shop), and the bell boys at the resort will bring your groceries to your villa.
The infinity finca pools are spectacular, and the swim up bars offer happy hour specials (two drinks for the price of one) late in the afternoon. There is an all inclusive option on the property as well (if all inclusive is purchased, then all the guests in the villa must purchase it).
