Outer Banks Beach Wedding, The Currituck Club, Corolla, NC
Memorial Day 2013 was jam packed. holiday property bond Saturday and Sunday were weddings in Winston-Salem, and Monday closed out the trifecta wedding weekend with Nick & Minna’s beautiful and crazy fun wedding at The Currituck Club in Corolla, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. holiday property bond
The morning holiday property bond started out laid back, with Minna and the girls getting ready at the Club while Nick and the guys were over at the beach house a few miles away. The guys came over to the club house a bit later and the bridal party and family holiday property bond rode a trolley over to the water’s edge where the ceremony was going to be. Once we were all in place, Minna arrived in on a golf cart for a beautiful walk up to the ceremony site.
It really holiday property bond was a perfect set up. A great lone tree set off to the side had leaves overhanging as Minna’s brother and uncle played the ceremony music. To make it a true family affair, Minna’s mom, a judge, performed the ceremony. (I should note, she’s the coolest judge I’ve had the pleasure holiday property bond of talking, and dancing, with!)
After the ceremony, we did the first of two photo sessions with Nick & Minna. The first includes the photo with the two green hills and the golden sky, which most people have assumed (from seeing the photo on facebook) that this was the sunset series. It actually wasn’t. It was just the start of a really nice sky which lasted into the night.
After having cocktails, a first dance and some dinner; Nick, Minna and I left the reception in a golf cart to come back to the ceremony site for some sunset photos, which worked out to be a beautiful time between two people totally in love, watching, and dancing, to the sun going down over their favorite spot anywhere in world. With my iPhone lodged in the branches of the tree and Wagon Wheel playing, they danced and watched the sun go down together for about 30 minutes. holiday property bond It was so cool to see time slip away, and these guys forget I was there (I was at a distance from them) as they sat and watched the sun duck under the water. It was only after taking that last shot of them laying on the ground together, did I realize they didn’t know I was there. Nick finally heard me, and slightly surprised, told me they had forgotten about me. Perfect.
Recharged holiday property bond and ready to go we headed back to the ceremony holiday property bond for an all out dance party late into the night, enjoying delicious Zen Pops . Two great families, with a bunch of very cool friends, brought this wedding weekend to close, holiday property bond and I leave it with you here, to enjoy the photos, and dream of being back at the beach. Big kiss to my cool wife Debbie, who did the 5 hour drive from midnight to 5am to get us from Winston to Corolla, while I slept in the car. Cheers to Nick & Minna!
